Protein-aptamer binding technique
We have two types of protein-aptamer binding techniques that bind aptamers highly specifically to target protein.
Method 1. Protein capture with aptamer pairs
Simultaneous detection of multiple biomarkers of interest in serum or plasma samples using aptamer pairs
Enhancement of signal-to-noise ratio by sandwich type assay
Patented platform technology for aptamer pair screening (Aptamer sandwich assays, US8785132B2)
1
Bead-capture aptamer binding
2
Formation of capture aptamer-biomarker-detection aptamer complex
3
Elution of detection aptamer
Method 2. Protein capture with single aptamer
Simultaneous capture of multiple biomarkers with single aptamers that can specifically bind to their target.
Increase of specificity by repeated washing of the aptamer-protein complex
Applied when the analysis of a large number of different biomarkers in a single well.
1
Aptamer-protein binding
2
Immobilization of aptamer-protein complex on SA bead & Biotinylation of protein
3
Photocleavage of the aptamer-protein complex from the bead & Immobilization of the complex on the second bead
4
Elution of detection aptamer
